- Geomorphology of the continental margins with attention to the submarine landslides, canyons, and fluid escape morphologies
- Mapping of marine geohazard
- Mapping of the seafloor morphologies and potential habitats.

Southern Tyrrhenian, Sicily Channel, Western Ionian, Tuscan Archipelago and Southern Pacific Ocean.
